This just gives a basic overview of the parts of speech in English. I feel that it was helpful to review, especially in terms of transitive and intransitive verbs. Also, the countable and uncountable nouns aspect was helpful, because it is something that many English learners struggle with, especially in regards to the proper articles that they must place before certain nouns. Also, the preposition section was useful because that is also something that many languages emphasize less, so that too is something to keep in mind when teaching students, as it may frustrate them at times.Lesson planning and self-review help to create goals and objectives and, more importantly, help to create points of readjustment for future lessons, based on the outcome of previous lessons. While having a tight lesson plan is a good guide, it should be exactly that, merely a guide. One should not be so rigid that one cannot be flexible to implement changes on-the-fly. So, despite the objective that may have been in the lesson plan, afterward, upon self-review, one should be able to plan the next lesson by incorporating the outcome and the observations of the previous lesson plan.
