Unit 5 looks at different teaching themes that can be applied to a range of contexts and situations within Business English. In Business English, we have to deal with particular language lessons towards specific scenarios such as telephoning, writing business formatted letters, and standard procedures for meetings and negotiations. Among some of the teaching themes that are highlighted in this unit are the tools of case studies, the process of frameworking, the methodology of problem-based learning, the usage of games and computer aided learning resources, and the analysis of speech act theory.
