We as English teachers have a variety of high and low tech tools at our disposal. With any tool though, it is important to utilize it within the greater context and with full purpose. These tools are only as good as the teacher who utilizes them. Improperly used, certain tools can lose students and an over reliance can be overall detrimental. It is important that teachers understand how to utilize the equipment before trying it upon the class. Familiarizing oneself with the tools ahead of time will prevent time being wasted in class. As always, it is important to further a goal. Not just fill up time of a lesson.
