During classes many problems can happen. One of the problems is first lessons. They include lessons with new groups and existing groups. New groups students don't know each other, there's no rapport and they are not familiar with EFL methods. For a teacher it's necessary to establish rapport, find out about students, students' needs, English level.
Another problem is different levels. We can use different materials, or different tasks with the same materials, pair stronger students with weaker ones. In large classes we can use worksheets, pair or group works, choral repetitions, appoint group leaders. It's better not to use native language.
