This unit is divided into three parts, How to teach: Vocabulary, Grammar and Functions. As regards vocabulary, it states how to chooose the vocabulary to be taught, what criteria to use, what to take into account when selecting the vocabulary, such as teachability, appropriacy to the task, appropriacy to the students, etc. As regards grammar, students should knowthe meaning, the usa, forms and patterns, spoken and written forms of each structure they learn.
It also provides what type of activities to do when teaching vocabulary, grammar or functions in each stage in ESA, and it also provides examples of a class carried out to teach each of these three parts.
