Teach English in Farsley - TESOL Courses
In this unit, I learned the usage of modals, phrasal verbs and passive and active voice. Modals are very useful in expressing ideas. Through these ideas, we can identify its formality, certainty and/or necessity of a person or object that we are referring to. Passive and active voice conveys the same meaning and differs in focus. We can easily differentiate them by its form and structure. For both defining and non-defining relative clause, the meaning of the information that was given is the same. They only differ to its essentiality. Phrasal verbs can be used in any context. Generally, they are used less often in formal situations and more often in informal ones.
