Future tenses, for me personally, are confusing and I have a hard time trying to understand them because in Portuguese we don't usually use those kinds of structures. That's why is essential that the teacher studies a lot before the class and feel confident enough to help the students. There are many future tenses that we only need to teach in advanced classes, but it is still important to have several examples and creative activities. Also, I've noticed in the classroom many students having a difficult time to understand the differences in usage between \"going to\"/ \"present continuous\" / future simple. Therefore, practice on real examples and usages are crucial.
