Unit11 Introduced various language skills which are receptive and productive skills but it focused on receptive skills, They are Reading and Listening. It talked about different motives and reasons why we read and listen, which may be for a specific purpose or for entertainment or it might be for both reasons. It also outlined how to read and listen such as skimming, scanning, predictive skills etc.
In this Unit, I learned about the various problems that effects reading and listening and the possible way to overcome them. Finally, the lesson idea on this unit for receptive skills is a great help to me, It gave me a guideline on how to prepare effective lessons from now on.
