In this unit I found that the most important was what to do on the very first class you have with students. It is important to use that first lesson to gain a connection with your students and get them interested in learning English. This first lesson is also a good way to see at which level the students are at and what they hope to learn in class. Also, you can find out what the students strengths and weaknesses are. Also we learned in this unit how to deal with large classroom sizes and students who may be reluctant to learn. For these types, group work can be good as it can make the students more comfortable and give them more one on one time to practice their English.
