I found it interesting how quickly I was able to determine that the first video had a substandard teacher simply by the way he presented himself to the class. It felt like, in the teacher's head, the students were bothering him and he just wanted the class to end. It is sad because I know there are teachers like that our there. Ones who rigidly stick to the lesson plans. As evident by the first video, this attitude does no favors to the students who want to be there and learn. Especially true for older students or people from the workforce who are more motivated to learn English a poor teacher can be a let down and disheartening to the point that it may discourage the student enough to leave.
