This unit covered the use of modals, phrasal verbs, and the passive voice. Modals can be used to express, obligation, possibility, permission, ability, or advice. They include such words as may, need to, must, have to, have got to, might, could, would, should, and can. For each of these words or clauses diffrent rules and structures apply in the application to a sentence. Further into the unit there was a distinguish made between the active voice and the passive voice.
