I enjoyed this unit very much. I think it is extremely important to understand how to set up not only your physical classroom but the mental and emotional teaching environment as well. as with many things in teaching, there is a time and a place for different situations. I like the idea of being able to make the classrooms more intimate depending on class size and what the subject matter is going to be. I also learned the differences of when a teacher should be more in charge and at the head of the class, and when the teacher should sit back and observe, while still remaining in control. i know painting discipline is an important aspect of teaching and this unit gave me many good tools to do so.
