This unit dealt with conditional and reported speech. It listed the different conditionals, they being Zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional, third conditional and mixed conditional. The text further explained their usage, structure and examples were given or each.
Then reported speech and direct speech were discussed. The text explained that when reporting speech the question word always remains the same, the verb tense changes and the question mark is omitted. The quotation mark that was used in the direct speech is also not used in the reported speech.
I leaned the usage of reported and conditional speech, their structures and when the different conditionals are to be used.
