Unit 1 of the ITTT Teaching Business English course covered an overview of what topics would be covered in the course, common terminology used in the course and the field and finally the objectives, aims, and description of the certification as well as career-prospects stemming from the certification.
The unit opened with an overview of the course at large, followed by an explanation of how the course functions and it's purposes. This was followed by an outline of the aims and objectives of the course and a list of terminology used in the ESP field. This was concluded with an outline of what to expect in the job market for teachers of business English as well as potential salaries and working hours.
