Watching these two videos demonstrates how lesson structure, the teachers attitude and the overall atmosphere of a class room effects a lessons. In the first video, the teacher seemed frustrated and acted as though he did not want to be there. This attitude visibly effected the students, many of them afraid to speak up in case they got the answers wrong. Overall, the class was confusing and unstructured. The second lesson was much more effective, the teacher created a friendly and open environment, encouraging all members of the class to actively participate. Clearly, a lesson plan was in place as each section of the ESA plan flowed to the next. Confidence levels were much higher in the second lesson.
