It was helpful to look at speaking and writing separately and to also look more closely at accuracy and fluency and where they fit in term of ESA and also creative and more formal writing. Also, sorting and categorizing the different activities even further into accuracy and fluency is beneficial. I struggled with the different activities at first, but I find I'm more comfortable and knowledgeable in terms of which to use when. It was a good reminder too of the importance of games in the classroom. I don't use games a lot, but will try to incorporate them more. I also appreciated the point to not decrease their time for preparation as this gives them confidence and also gives them more talk time.
