This lesson was very good. It is really true that the more language we expose the students to the more they will learn. The importance of pre-teaching vocabulary can not be stressed enough. First, no matter what English level a student is at, they always need to continue building their vocabulary. And second, it helps prevent students from having 'holes' in their understanding of what they are listening to or reading. Creating interest also helps motivate learners. I really like the lesson plan ideas that were included in this unit. I never thought about focusing on Elvis but the that is such a good idea. You can not only have students listen to an interview but they can also listen to his music.
