This unit was essential because it gave me a series of definitions with which I may be able to explain parts of speech to learners. For instance, I think now I am able to explain \"articles\", \"adverbs\" and \"pronouns\" to learners with greater efficiency. This unit gave me a better understanding of grammar by differentiating types of words within classes or parts of speech which I hadn't considered before. For example, I found it was useful to classify prepositions according to \"time\", \"movement\" and \"place\". So now I would be able to deal with each classification separately. With this unit helping me to explain parts of speech better, I can now make it easier for students to understand them.
