This unit covers the past tense and its different forms additionally with each form what the common student?s errors/mistakes as well as various ideas on what to do during the active stage of the lesson. I found the past tenses interesting, meaning as a native speaker I am able to fluently talk about the past without giving it a second thought, however when I have interacted with non-native speakers, I have been able to pick up on what their common mistakes are when they speak and as stated in the unit it is the endings -ing as well as the confusion of ?been? and ?had?. The more I speak with my non-English friend?s I am picking up more on what their errors are in terms of sentence structure.
