The attitude that the teacher comes into class with will have a profound effect on the success of the lesson. If I was the student in the first lesson, I would feel confused and uninterested in the class. So when we are teaching lessons, we need to be well prepared, and try to arouse the students' interest. In the first video, the students find it to hard to understand, because of the teacher says modal auxiliary verbs in the Engage phase. In stead of that, the second lesson is successfully engaged the students' interest by using a concept that students understand (animals). This encourages them to participate. From that we can see when we are teaching, we should use the suitable language to the lesson.
