I enjoyed this unit because it reminded me of the phonetics and linguistics class I took in college. Phonetics are a branch of study that I wish more native English-speakers were taught and could understand. They are often overlooked because you don't necessarily need to know the phonetic alphabet to read, write, listen, and speak normally and conversationally. However, understanding phonetics can give you a broader comprehension of your native language as a whole.This unit is talking about teaching different types of classes.We all know that it is quite different of teaching in different classes,like teaching the beginners,the individual students,children,business English or English in specific purposes.We should have an idea of what type our class is before teaching,and it is necessary to make a survey to figure out what's their interest and goal for learning English so that we can prepare a suitable teaching plan for them.
