In this lesson we went back over teaching using the ESA style of teaching. Review consisted of the straight line, boomerang, and the patchwork methods. We incorporated these methods while learning how to better teach vocabulary, grammatical structure, and language function. This lesson teaches the importance of making sure the students are exposed to the language I will teach, that they understand it, understand how to construct it, and practice it while producing it.This unit has thought me a lot on how to conduct an english class with students in the engage level and also in the activate phase. However, in the first lesson the teacher was not such of a fun person. Therefore, the students felt more confused and intimidated to participate in the lesson. Hence, the second the teacher was more smiling and friendly and paid more attention to the students need. Thus, the students were participating more in the classroom in lesson two.
