Unit 11 shows the importance of reading and listening skills and covers some techniques and activities that can be helpful in implementing the receptive skills during the lesson. This unit was a great reminder for me about the importance of the receptive skills as we usually think of fluency as it relates to the productive skills of speaking and writing. But, as it was shown here, fluency is also an essential component in the receptive skills of listening and reading.This is a good summery of this course, in this course there are many useful things and many necessary items, my only suggestions are again to make use of videos where the instructor is more dynamic and moves around a bit more and is not so dry and monotone. Also the use of power point is a suggestion of coming into the modern age and cuts down on time where the instructor is writing and has his or her back to the students something I have found to be very off putting.
