The productive skills are speaking and writing because learners doing these need to produce language.They are also known as active skills,they can be compared with the receptive skills of listen and reading,they now move on to productive skills by group writing their own based on the example.?n the classroom certain activities such as working with literature and project work seek to integrate work on both receptive and productive skills.I learnt that teachers need to engage to make lessons more fun and stimulating while games, used in lower level classes can be an easy way to learn new vocabulary. The most important lesson here is engaging the student and making sure he or she has the time and opportunity to correct their own mistakes. What the teacher has to do is make sure the environment is always a relaxed one so that any corrections can be taken in a positive light.
