There are many useful things i have learnt in this unit. In the past i have never taught any of the grammar within this unit, but now i have the foundation to be able to do so.
I can now understand the basic rules for the use of modal verbs and the modal verbs' degrees of meaning.
I can now identify what is an active voice and passive voice, as well as the use of passive voice according to the tense in which the sentence is structured.
I can now teach the different clauses - independent, dependent and relative clauses. I learnt what are defining and non-defining relative clauses and how to identify them.
I have confidence now in teaching phrasal verbs, especially with the teaching hints at the end of the unit.
