I'd never really thought about the passive voice in a lot of detail from a grammatical standpoint, so learning more about how to translate sentences from the active to the passive voice was new for me. At first I found this difficult, but as time went on I became more and more comfortable with such exercises. I also found it difficult to come up with examples of intransitive phrasal verbs. This is another area of grammar which was brand-new to me, so I think I will be mulling through the idea of phrasal verbs for some time to come. Overall, though, I've really enjoyed learning about these different aspects of grammar, and feel as though these studies have greatly enriched my appreciation for, and understanding of, the English language.
