I believe lesson planning is a very important part of being a good teacher. This unit helped clarify the different aspects needed in a lesson plan and why they are important. Such as having a learner objective, this is important because it is what you're aiming to achieve out of the lesson. Knowing this will help plan the activities you introduce to solidify this goal. This unit also brought up self evaluation which I now realise will be very important especially as a beginner teacher. This will help me realise my strengths and weaknesses and allow me to further understand myself and my teaching ways in order to better my teaching abilities for the students. This will be a unit that I will reflect on often as I start my teacher career.
