In Unit 6 it's all about past tenses.
The system of past tenses is not too different from present tenses, except, that past tenses relate to times and periods that happened obviously in the past.
PAST TENSES:
Past Simple: Is used for completed actions in the past. ( Last Saturday I played tennis. )
Past Continous: Is used for interrupted past actions. (While I was shopping at the mall, I lost my wallet. )
Past Perfect: As I have learnt in this unit, is the past in the past.( After my husband had painted the house, he decided to sleep. )
Past Perfect Continous: Isn't used most frequently, but it is also important, and is used to talk about longer actions in the past. (Before writing my homework, I had been playing tennis for almost 3 hours. )
