I have learn that there are four basic skills in any language receptive skill reading and listening, productive skills speaking and writing all are important and wherever possible we should incorporate all of them in our lessons if we want to have a balance approach .I have learn also that the topic of text or dialogue we choose can also motivate students because if the topic is not interesting the students will engage with materials. So it is important to choose topics and tasks that goes with them. Knowing the students and what they like is very important .I also lean that getting the students motivated and engaged in the task there is a much possibility that they will read and listen with real enthusiasm whether or not they were interested in the topic
