Unit 15 was about evaluation and testing. There are different types of tests; diagnostic, progress, placement, and practice testing, which is useful for students to test their knowledge in English. It is beneficial for both the student and the teacher because it test exactly what level the student is on and helps the teacher focus on their weaknesses. I believe that testing student's is a great idea because it will help them in their English tests in the future for either studying or their careers. I didn't realize there were several different external examinations. I have only heard of TOEIC, TEFOL, and IELTS. So, I think it is important to know the different categories for examinations for different individuals who want to go into Business or to get an education abroad.
