This unit was the third in a series regarding the tenses of the English language; in this case the future tense. The future tense is one of the most complex areas of the English language, especially concerning the use of both the present simple tense and the present continuous, which can both refer to future events respectively. Prior to this study of this unit, I had little previous knowledge and teaching regarding the use of these aforementioned present tenses that can have future applications. However, after a little practice with creating my own examples and thoroughly reading the course unit, I feel that I am more comfortable with teaching the future tense to my ESL students, in stark contrast to the past tense (which I still am not completely familiarly and confident with).
