This unit covered various classroom scenarios that you can experience throughout your teaching career. Specifically over-viewing techniques and activities that can be used when teaching a specific group such as beginners, young learners and business students.
Your method and teaching behaviour may need to vary or be changed when working with different groups. For example beginners may be more motivated to learn than someone who is being put through a course by there work place. Children may need a more energetic presentation in order to fully engage with the material.
The main thing I have learnt throughout this particular unit is the importance on having an idea of the students background, needs and culture. As a key component to building that initial rapport and maintaining it.
