This unit talks about the importance of planning our lessons considering that it could be an important resource in organizing, keeping track and focusing on the goals we, as teachers, want to achieve and last but not least on how the learning process of the students should be.
According to the unit there are some basic principles in which we can build our lesson plans, such as, keeping it simple and flexible, creating a structure and maintaining it adequately with activities for the different levels you're teaching so the lessons can flow smoothly. However, they're only suggestions and teachers must create, build and/or structure their lesson plans according to their personalities and/or their preferencial teaching method and also according to the group of students they are working with.
