The video lessons demonstrated how greatly the teacher's attitude towards the students affects the ability of the students to learn. The first lesson failed to Engage the students' interest and the material was so poorly presented that it is questionable if much was learned at all. The teacher's lack of interest or respect for the individual students was almost painful to watch and the video was even difficult to sit through.
The second video was a complete contrast and I found it interesting and enjoyable to watch. The teacher made sure to learn all the students; names and used them in conversing with them. His gestures, tones of voice and mimes added to the relaxed atmosphere and made the class seem fun while allowing the students to better learn, understand and utilize modal auxiliary words.
