In this unit the focus is on the productive skiils (writing and speaking) which are used for communicative purpose. In order to get the students participate in communicative activities teachers should provide interesting and useful material and topics. Accuracy activities which concentrate on correct language should be used in the study phase and fluency activities which allow students to experiment with the language and be creative should be used as a part of the activate phase. Techniques such as pair and group work are recommended for encouraging interaction. It is also important not to neglect writing. There are numerous ideas how to motivate students to write. Such examples are writing or finishing stories, completing dialogues in cartoon bubbles, writing interviews with favourite stars, games, etc.
