I found this lesson very useful because of the explanation of the usages for each tense form. Learning the patterns in language can both simplify and make language more recognizable. Even though I studied the present tense grammar functions in college, I still learned some newer ways to recognize the sentence structures as well as the negative vs positive. Also, I found it very interesting that each sentence form marks a specific time in the past or present. For example the present perfect continuous marks a time that has been in progress for a specific a non-specific length of time. For example. I have been receiving 100% on my TEFL exams. Shows that in the past and maybe in the future I will be receiving more 100%s on my TEFL Exams. I had never really thought of studying the English language like this before.
