This lesson was about producing productive skills (writing and speaking). Encouraging interaction of the students is important so each of the students practice speaking. Accuracy takes a lesser role when encouraging the students to speak fluently. Controlled activities, guided activities and creative communication normally would be included in the lesson plan. When teaching writing skills Some students may need training in punctuation and writing the alphabet if their native language is different than English in these areas. Also there is some variations in writing depending on the purpose of the writing (email, formal, stories etc). Writing typically gets less consideration in the classroom but is a skill that does need to be taught and practiced. This lesson also discussed the use of games in the classrooms.
