This unit is about teaching different groups of English learners: beginners, individuals, children, Business English learners and students of monolingual and multilingual class. As specialized groups have different background, levels, purposes and motivations, it is essential that specialized methodology and techniques be used accordingly. In my opinion, deciding on which group of learners you would like to teach is highly neccessary in advance of starting your career.I went back and reread unit 3 also while reading unit 9. I am still finding some engage and study activities difficult to distinguish between. In some cases I believe they could be used as both. Or I guess, what I really mean is that I can see value in varying the order, and I guess classifying the activity as engage or study is less important to me personally. The more important thing to me would be that the students are learning and that the class flows smoothly.
