This unit was a nice review of the present tenses. It was thoroughly structured and very informative. I felt that I have regained the knowledge I have lost over the years since my days of K-12 schooling.
Overall, the present tenses are the Present simple, Present Continuous, Present Perfect, and Present Perfect Continuous. Each of the tenses had explanations and examples of their usages. The task sheet was helpful in that it was nice to practice the regained knowledge.This unit focused on ways of teaching vocabulary and grammar but was somewhat intangible. There was a good review of ESA structures and even previously studied tenses (in the Task sheet) and a nice idea to reinforce things learned in past chapters, but the portion on grammatical structures was vague and unclear lacking concrete examples. Whereas most units have been overly detailed, this unit lacked details and explanations and a coherency that would have been helpful.
