this content covered the most common issues that english teachers will face in their careers, for example different paced learners, shy students and large class size amongst others. The most important point that I took from this lesson is to not push students too hard (e.g. in speaking exercises that they do not feel comfortable in) and realize that students will sometimes either start or progress at different levels/speeds, which is OK as long as nobody is left behind.I like how the study guide lists 'fortune telling' as a teaching idea for the future simple tense. This is an easy trick to distinguish the future simple from other tenses.
The future simple tense is used to predict an event without present evidence, and is worded as \"something WILL happen\" (spontaneous decision). The going to future tense is used to confirm an event supported by present evidence, and is worded as \"something IS GOING TO happen\" (planned decision).
