I learned that there are different reasons why a person would read something.
The first is for the purpose of reaching a goal for e.g. going on a road trip and asking for direction to get to your destination.
The second for pleasure e.g. reading a magazine of your choice.
The third is a combination of both a purpose and pleasure for example reading about your favourite painting and then seeing it in a gallery and understanding what the tour guide is talking about .Unit 9 focuses on planning and the structure of lessons particularly how they relate to both the students and the teacher. For the teacher this could be that lesson plans are made as less of a structure and more as an adaptable plan for the day. The way in which a teacher plans the lesson is only relevant in the need for a working document and for a record of the class as an aid to future planning or for the reflection on problems or other areas of pursue within the lesson.
