I found this section to be very hard. I struggled with this but I hope I managed to get most of it right. I felt that I learnt the most about the diffrent modal verbs. The table that included the diffrent auxiliary words were very helpful for me to understand how this part of grammar works. I found the clauses and phrasal words pretty hard, I think I use them sometimes when I speak english and when I write but that comes naturally, to be able to see this in theory was harder.This unit focused on the tense system. The present tenses (present simple, present continuous, present perfect, present perfect continuous) were taught in thorough detail. The form (affirmative, negative, questioning), usages, typical mistakes/errors, and sample teaching ideas were given for each. We were told that the present tense system may seem easy to native speakers of English, however, it can often times be difficult for students learning English as a foreign language.
