This unit discussed the use of different teaching aids in lessons. Some of the common aids found in the classroom are white/black board,CD players,cassette recorders,worksheets, videos and DVDs, overhead projectors,dictionaries,course books,computers and online resources. I reviewed the different uses of each and the important factors to be considered when using these teaching aids. The unit also taught me the advantages and disadvantages of using each of these teaching aids.It helped me to analyze the grammar more carefully and better.
It reminded me that things I do naturally in conversation or writing such as \"adjectives+noun\" could be some new information to students.
Nice to have these information handy so we don't forget to mention rules in the classroom.
But I still feel that to explain exceptions will be a bit of challenge for me coz I know most students keep on forgetting and that will make me feel like I'm not doing it right.......
