I think it's a great time to be a teacher because all of the conventional and proven methods are available, and new ways of teaching are offered by technology. The main idea I took away is that the resources available in the country I teach will determine how I teach. This means it's a good idea to have a firm grasp of the fundamentals of teaching, rather than relying too much on technology. Conversely, using technology will be expected and demanded by students in some cultures.In the second lesson the teacher had an attitude that engaged the students from the very start. He seemed to win over the students quickly and that set a tone for the rest of the lesson. He smiled and it appeared that he genuinely wanted to be with the students. He spoke slowly. He affirms the student's participation. He laughed along with the students. He provided an example for the study activity and for the activate activity. He used the students' names throughout the lesson.
