This unit focuses on future tense, which also includes two aspects of present tense - present simple and present continuous in a future matter. I learned that, unlike past tense, this tense was nearly as complicated as present tense. I think the issue lies in the many ways that one can speak of a future action or thought. It was also interesting to see how many forms of future tense can incorporate some form of prediction. It makes sense, considering the future is not often certain.Teaching pronunciation and phonology is a very challenging task especially as a non-native speaker teacher. The International Phonetic Alphabet can be a great tool to help everybody understanding sounds. However, most students are not very familiar with this tool or may not be willing to learn it. Therefore I think a good teacher may introduce this way of learning pronunciation and see how students respond to it. With pronunciation, especially for adults, perfection is not the goal.
