Teach English in Dunblane - TESOL Courses
This unit focuses on productive skills, including speaking and writing. It seems that productive skills are harder than receptive ones to acquire because of the situation when time for writing is reduced in fear of 'quiet time'. Teaching productive skills depend on two elements: accuracy and fluency. They shoud be modified according to the phase. From this lesson, I have learned the differences between receptive and productive skills and gathered lesson-planning ideas from this unit.In this unit, it makes a good point about the usage of course book. To be a greater teacher, we should know how much we should teach from the course book and how to be more creative rather than copy everything from the course book.
It would be perfect if we can personalized the level of the students and combine the knowledge from course book and our own, it's always good for teachers themselves to have their own stuff.
Make a good use of the example in this unit, make class more fun.
