While studying unit 18 I started to notice that the learners in my classroom often have difficulty knowing when to use the different auxiliary verbs. For example, one learner age 7, who has been studying English for 8 months repeatedly said \"Should I go to the bathroom?\" No, you should finish your work sheet. At the end of the day I found out that the learner needed to go to the bathroom but didn't go because I told her no. To make sure that my learners are able to communicate better with myself I am going to recreate the charts on page 2 and 3 using example of classroom language. Overall I found this unit to be very helpful in explains the different forms of auxiliary verbs and voice. Although, in my classroom I don't have the need to go into such detail with my learners I will use the information I obtained to better help my non native English speaking friends.
