This unit was very helpful in giving tips and instructions on how to teach English to children and business people. Both groups are very different and require different skills in order to teach. Children are usually more motivated or are easily motivated to learn English whereas business people either have or do not have the motivation to learn English. However, if the adult is taking the English class of their own free will then he/she will be highly motivated.
I found the recap of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) refreshing. This unit added to the knowledge of previous units on this subject. It is not only useful but efficient use of time to use any authentic materials that can relate to the adult's work. This could get the adult learner to be more motivated to learn and the adult learner would be learning English skills that can be used almost immediately (provided that the adult learner understands).
