This unit gives us a chance to learn about the metholodies used in teaching a language. I have learned what theories there are and what they focus on. It was very helpful to understand my own teaching techniques. I suppose, new teachers use some methods and techniques and they don't even now that those are methods already studied by the specialists. It was great to learn about ESA method and examples provided for each stage of the lesson.This lesson was interesting because we got to watch two separate videos of English teachers teaching foreign students. The first video of the students were not receptive because the teacher did a poor job during class. The teacher was condescending and negative during the first lesson and then the second lesson the teacher was positive and encouraging and having fun with the lesson and as a result of students responded in a better manner.
