In this unit we learn about how to use different teaching equipment and teaching aids to its fullest extent. There are a lot of different teaching aids that teachers can use to make lessons more interesting, effective and less dependent on the textbook. However it depends where you teach, because different schools have different resources available, some may be very modern and high tech and others may be very basic.
They cover the use of the following teaching aids in this unit; the board, interactive whiteboard, overhead projector, Visual aids, worksheets and work cards, cassette recorder, video's and DVD's, video camera, dictionaries, course books, resource books, photocopier, computers and online resources. All of these aids are very useful to any teacher experienced or not experienced and it is very important to know how to use all of these tools and especially how to use it efficiently in ones classroom.
